The work of A.S.Osley is something that people interested in handwriting today would benefit from being able to access: I wonder if there is any prospect of his Scribes and Sources or Calligraphy & Paeleography becoming available again, on paper or digitally?

I just wanted to write and say thank you for getting The Faber Book of Modern Verse back into print. I borrowed my mother’s ancient copy as a child and have read it so much since then that it’s in 7 pieces and held together with an elastic band. I now have a lovely new copy of my own, courtesy of Faber Finds (although I may keep my mother’s for sentimental value). Thank you for republishing a wonderful collection.
It would be a great service to mankind if you could retrieve the 5 detective novels of V C Clinton-Baddeley which were Gollancz yellow jackets in the 1960’s and early 70’s – the quintessential urbane professor detective where the plot is irrelevant – you can just relish Dr Davie’s views on life and enjoyment of the everyday.
